Carrot, celery and parsley health drink

To some of us who are only used to drinking fruit juice and not vegetable juice, this may sound a bit bizarre and somewhat unappetizing.

However, fear not, this drink is actually quite tasty and full of essential nutrients. The apple gives it some sweetness.

How to make the carrot, celery and parsley drink

Ingredients:

  • 3 large carrots, scrubbed or peeled

  • 4 ribs/sticks of celery

  • Small bunch of parsley

  • 2 apples, stalk only removed

  • Cut the vegetables and fruit into suitable size pieces for your juicer.

Using your juicing machine, juice the celery first, then the carrots and then the apples.

Pour the juice into your blender and add the parsley and blend until smooth.

Should the juice be too thick, add some fresh spring or mineral water to the desired consistency.

Pour into a glass and serve. Serves 1
