Crockpot Asian Chicken with Coriander
Asian Chicken Recipe
This is a wonderful Pan Asian dish enhanced by the aromatic flavours of coriander.
- 10 filleted chicken breasts, skin removed
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- cup of sweet sherry or saki
- 2 cloves of garlic, whole
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 2 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder
- 3 tablespoons fresh coriander, roughly chopped
Cut chicken breasts in half.
Place all the ingredients in the crockpot/slow cooker and mix until well combined.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
For the last hour of cooking, add the chopped coriander to the crockpot.
Serve the Crockpot Asian Chicken garnished with coriander leaves.
